BrainSonix is a privately-held company developing a proprietary and non-invasive medical device product using "Low Intensity Focused Ultrasound Pulsation" (LIFUP) technology to therapeutically modulate brain function to treat brain disorders. Through collaborations with Harvard Medical School and UCLA, Brainsonix has demonstrated the feasibility of its innovative technology in animal models. Detailed experimental parameters are being optimized in preparation for human clinical testing. The Company believes its technology and associated services can be developed for the treatment of: (1) psychiatric (depression, anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, autism and more), (2) neurological (epilepsy, Parkinson's Diseases, essential tremor, Huntington's disease, and more), (3) medical (pain, obesity and endocrine illnesses) and, (4) research (scientific devices for brainmapping, animal and in-vitro experiments).
